Guatemala Mission Trip
On July 11th, First Baptist Fayetteville will be sending off a team to witness and show to the love of Jesus to the people in Guatemala. This team will try to be the hands and feet of Jesus in schools, clinics, and even construction zones. Your support and prayers are very much needed as they prepare for the journey the Lord is leading them on.
Donations
This website will give you many outlets on ways you can serve even if you will not be stepping foot on the ground there. One major way that our team needs help is donations from you. The team is relying on the Lords provision to make a way there. Therefore, financially this provides an opportunity for you to play a role in supporting our team. We ask for you to give as the Lord calls. Despite if you are able to give financially, we beg of your prayers for the hearts on the team and the hearts of the people there.
Children’s team
This team will seek to reach the children in the school. They will show the love of Jesus by interacting with the people they meet there, but most importantly, they will share the gospel of Christ to everyone they come into contact with.
Women’s team
This team will apply their experience and what they know about teaching to the educators of Guatemala to equip them with better resources. Therefore, while the children’s team is presenting the gospel to the students, the education team will be witnessing to the teachers about the Master Teacher.
Medical Team
This team will be applying their God given gifts in the medical field directly to the people they meet at the clinic. This team may be offering some sort of healing. However, in everything they do they will be directing hearts to The Great Physician.
Dental Team
By providing dental care, this team will show the love of Christ in a unique way. They have the opportunity to be a witness to the person in the chair. Therefore, we hope that each person walks away with a beautiful smile and joy from the Lord.
Construction Team
By building up the physical church, this team will be working hard to further the kingdom. By building foundations and mixing concrete, they will also be building relationships and stirring peoples hearts towards Christ.
Pastoral Team
This team will go to equip and encourage the pastors the Lord has already called to the churches of Guatemala. Through prayer and teaching of the Word these men will learn how to better shepherd the flock they have been given.
WE PRAISE THE LORD.
We praise the Lord for the opportunity to return back to Guatemala and the people of Tejutla. He has blessed us with a partnership with the faith family there in order to reach many for the kingdom of heaven.
