This church that we will be coming along side displays all the characteristics of a church willing to follow the direction of the Lord. Iglesia Evangelica Bautista Betel serves the Lord with a humble and compassionate posture of heart. In everything they do, their generosity and kindness shines through.
Pastor Juan Carillo
This is Pastor Juan, who with help from other members in his congregation, runs the church there. He truly does care for for the people in Tejutla and has a heart for outreach. As you can see he takes the shepherding of his sheep (or rams) very seriously.
Volunteer Baptist International
VBI is a church partnership that focus on missions to equip, engage, and empower churches and believers for global Gospel activity. The Tennessee Baptist Mission Board utilizes E3 Volunteers as our coordinating partner in efforts to evangelize and disciple Guatemalans to win their country for Christ.
People who make this possible
First, we have Bro. Gary Eudy. He is the President and founder of Volunteer Baptist International, who communicates with Guatemala about all the trips details. Next, we have Xiomara Garcia, also known as Eldy. She is this year’s coordinator and Mission Team Mobilizer on the ground. She will be with us all week to help and lead us. Lastly, we have Damaris Espinoza. She is a mobilization coordinator for VBI, and our church’s relationship with Guatemala and missions in the past would not be possible without her.
