Look for the star
If you can see the star on this map, that is where we will be staying for the week. The star marks the small town called Tejutla. It is about a 7 hour drive from Guatemala City. Within Tejutla, the elevation is in the range of 8,200 ft, with an area of 55 miles. This town has around 31,000 inhabitants while a majority of them speak spanish.
Religion
The most common religions in Guatemala is a mixture of Christianity, Mayan traditions, and Catholicism. Therefore, when we go, we will not be looking for our own praise or glory. But we will be going in hopes of bringing people to the one true Savior. Along with this, our mission will also be to strengthen and rekindle the flame they already had previously established for the Lord.
